Donjeta Elshani Hetemi

Donjeta Elshani Hetemi is a legal professional with a strong background in human rights, public administration, and international engagement. She holds a Law degree from the University of Prishtina and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in European Integration and Public Administration. Her professional experience spans legal work, non-governmental organizations, education, and advocacy, including teaching Albanian and Spanish and participating in numerous international seminars and professional trainings.



Donjeta is a recipient of academic scholarships from both the University of Prishtina and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. She has demonstrated early leadership through her roles as Vice President of the LDK Youth Forum (Fushë Kosovë branch) and President of Lëvizja Rilindja during her high school years.



Now based in Canada, Donjeta is continuing her professional development at Robertson College, where she is expanding her knowledge of Canadian legislation in preparation for a career in the legal field. She also volunteers with Amnesty International, reinforcing her commitment to human rights advocacy and global justice.



Fluent in Albanian, Spanish, and English, with working knowledge of Italian, Donjeta brings a multilingual and cross-cultural perspective to her work. Her long-term vision is to contribute meaningfully to human rights and public policy while balancing professional growth with her role as a mother to three young daughters.
