Halifax, Nova Scotia — July 8, 2026 — Artistè Foundation is proud to announce a new partnership with Albanian Community Mental Health (ACMH), expanding access to information about available mental health services for women, refugees, immigrants, and individuals facing financial barriers to care.

Artistè Foundation is dedicated to empowering women, particularly refugee and immigrant women, by fostering opportunities for healing, connection, and personal growth. Through community partnerships and accessible programming, the Foundation works to reduce barriers to essential services and support women as they build healthy, resilient futures for themselves and their families.

As part of this collaboration, individuals referred through Artistè Foundation may apply for ACMH's reduced-fee program. Eligibility for reduced-fee services is determined through the clinic's intake process based on financial circumstances and the availability of reduced-fee appointments.

ACMH Commitment to Mental Health

Accessibility is a cornerstone of ACMH's approach to care. The clinic regularly provides reduced-fee mental health services, subject to clinician availability and program capacity. In addition, the clinic has clinicians registered with the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP), enabling eligible refugees to access covered mental health services in accordance with the program's terms. Coverage and any applicable client co-payments are determined by IFHP.

This partnership represents another important step toward ensuring that women and families in our community can access the mental health support they need, regardless of their financial circumstances. By working alongside organizations that share our commitment to accessibility and compassionate care, we are creating stronger pathways to wellness for those we serve.

Community members interested in learning more about services available through ACMH are encouraged to contact the clinic directly to begin the intake process, discuss available service options, including reduced-fee services where eligible, or complete the referral form on the clinic's website.

As Artistè Foundation continues to grow its network of community partners, it remains committed to advancing equity, supporting the well-being of refugee and immigrant women, and connecting individuals with the resources they need to thrive.
