About the Role
Have you ever wanted to write, produce, or be part of a film production in Canada?
This is your chance to explore your creative potential through a rare mentorship and hands-on production opportunity offered by the Artistè Foundation in partnership with Core Film Productions.
This opportunity is being offered to members of our community while remaining open to newcomers, refugees, immigrants, and underrepresented groups across Canada. Whether you are a recent newcomer or have been in Canada for decades, we welcome creatives with passion, vision, and previous experience in the arts and media industry.
Selected participants will receive:
- Film mentorship and production experience
- Creative development and networking opportunities
- Hands-on experience in storytelling and filmmaking
- Story production
- Travel and attendance support to Halifax, Nova Scotia
ELIGIBILITY:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must currently reside in Canada
Must be willing to travel to Halifax, Nova Scotia
Must have some previous experience in arts, media, journalism, communications, storytelling, film, photography, content creation, or related creative fields in Canada or internationally
Travel expenses for selected participants will be covered.
Duration: 8 weeks.

Able to attend in person in Halifax ( Travel expenses covered by program)
Criminal Record Check and references required upon successful selection part of screening process.
