Some voices are born from survival. Some voices are forged in pain.
Venesa Sulimani is one of those voices now available to share her story, insights, and shed light, inspire hope through keynote speaking and public engagements.
She has spoken at the Women, Peace and Security Forum in Pristina, in Bogotá, The Hague, and other global conferences, carrying the stories of those whose voices were silenced by war, trauma, and injustice. She has worked with the International Criminal Court in The Hague on the rights of children impacted by conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV), collaborated with the Murad Code Project to create tools for survivors, published her work in peer-reviewed journals, and stood alongside the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg advocating for children in conflict and the lasting impact of intergenerational trauma.
Venesa’s voice is shaped by more than advocacy. She spent years in and out of hospitals, fighting life-threatening medical conditions caused by trauma. She knows what it feels like to lose control of your body, your health, your safety — and she has reclaimed it all. She speaks openly about anorexia, eating disorders, and mental health, offering truth, hope, and courage to teens and young adults who feel unseen, unheard, and broken.
Venesa does not speak about resilience — she embodies it.
She is available for:
• Keynote addresses
• Panels & fireside chats
• Universities & schools
• Women’s leadership and advocacy forums
• Mental health, youth, and community events
• Virtual or in-person engagements
