Fateh Ahmed is a Halifax-based filmmaker, producer, and educator with over 15 years of experience in film, media, and audio and music production. As Founder and Director of Core Film Productions, he has written, directed, and produced numerous documentaries and feature-length projects exploring social justice, cultural identity, and community resilience.

Fateh has worked with organizations such as the National Film Board of Canada, CBC, and BBC, and has contributed to film education as an instructor in audio engineering, film production, and music at NSCC. Holding a Master’s degree in Media & Professional Practice, he combines creative leadership with technical expertise in post-production, sound design, and curriculum development.
